Exam Ready Tools for Schools & Tutors
Help parents and students get more value from GCSE past-paper practice at home
No cost to you. No setup. Simply take a look and share it with parents if you think it could help.
Past papers are one of the most useful ways for students to prepare for GCSEs. But when a student completes a paper at home, it can be difficult for them to know what the result really means.
Exam Ready Tools is designed to help with exactly that. Students complete a GCSE past paper, upload their answers, and receive clear feedback to help them understand how they performed and where to focus their revision next.
- Which areas are they confident in?
- Where are they losing marks?
- What should they revise next?
We're not asking you to buy anything
Exam Ready Tools is a parent and student resource for independent revision at home. There is:
- No cost to you
- No software to install
- No setup or implementation
- No accounts for you to manage
- No student data for you to provide
- No training required
We're simply asking you to take a look and, if you feel Exam Ready Tools could be useful, consider recommending it to parents of Year 10 and Year 11 students.
How it works
- 01
Complete a past paper
The student completes a GCSE past paper as part of their revision at home.
- 02
Upload the completed paper
They upload their answers and select the relevant exam board, subject and paper.
- 03
See how they performed
Exam Ready Tools helps the student understand their performance, including an estimated grade and where marks were gained or lost.
- 04
Know what to revise next
The student can identify the areas they need to revisit, helping make their next revision session more focused.
Designed to support independent revision
Exam Ready Tools is not intended to replace teaching, classroom feedback or teacher assessment. It is designed to help students and parents make better use of the independent revision they are already doing at home.
This can be particularly useful in the run-up to Year 11 mock exams and the final GCSE examination period.

Why we created Exam Ready Tools
Exam Ready Tools grew from our own experience of supporting GCSE learning at home. We found that completing past papers was useful, but the difficult part was often knowing what to do afterwards.
A mark or grade on its own does not always tell a student where they need to improve. We wanted to make it easier for students to turn past-paper practice into more focused revision.
A simple resource to share with parents
There is no commitment and no cost to you. Take a look at Exam Ready Tools and, if you feel it could benefit your students, we'd be grateful if you would consider sharing it with parents of Year 10 and Year 11 students.
